The Scribbled on Purpose mark reflects the idea that every life is made of different pieces, experiences, challenges, strengths, and possibilities—and that those pieces can come together to create something whole and meaningful.
A story can be rewritten.
Our colorful puzzle pieces represent the many parts of a person's journey. The gear represents movement, progress, and the work it takes to turn purpose into action. Together, the mark speaks to restoration, growth, community, and possibility.

Dr. Roniesha Perkins
Founder | Executive Director
“We Serve. We Uplift. We Restore.”
Dr. Roniesha J. Perkins is a visionary educator, advocate, mother, and writer whose passion for serving others was shaped by her own journey through adversity. After experiencing domestic violence, molestation, jail, alcohol abuse, homelessness, suicidal attempts, mental health illness, and currently raising four children alone, she learned that a life that looks messy or broken can still be beautiful and purposeful.
That belief became the foundation of Scribbled on Purpose Foundation. A movement created to help individuals and families move from crisis to stability and from survival to purpose. Through programs focused on reentry, housing stability, mental health, domestic violence support, single-parent families, education, and leadership, Scribbled on Purpose provides practical resources, dignity, and opportunities to rebuild.
Because a difficult chapter doesn't have to be the end of your story. I believe that no matter how messy the story may look, it can still be rewritten with purpose.
